Ramrod mini-skidsteer wheel motors are available from a variety of sources. Our experience is in replacing wheel motors for 900 series machines. Some of the original wheel motors utilized a third hydraulic line for pressure relief and lubrication. We have replaced these motors with standard, two-hose motors. The after market motors have been easier to install because they are a little shorter. Getting them into the original designed space has been easier. We have paid between $500 and over $1000 for replacement wheel motors – this is not a cheap endeavor! One of the replacements for these wheel motors for the 900 series is 22.63 cu in Dynamic BMER-2-375-WS-T4-S Wheel Motor available from multiple sources. If you have not replaced wheel motors on Ramrod machines, there are a lot of other things that you need to know. Check back for additional articles on this subject. Thanks!
